OMAR SHRINE CENTER
Omar Shrine Center is located in at 176 Patriots Point Street, Mount Pleasant, SC. Omar is a non-profit
organization who has Shrine jurisdiction over the extreme 22 eastern counties of South Carolina. Omar has
over 3,000 members, and belongs to an international fraternity of approximately 500,000 members, known as
the Shriners International.
The official philanthropic purpose of our fraternity is the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, which consist of 22
hospitals offering state of the art cost care to children under the age of 18 for orthopaedic, burns, spinal cord
injuries, and cleft lip and palate needs regardless of the ability to pay.
The 2011 Potentate for Omar Shrine is Illustrious Sir John T. McClary, Jr.
