BEACH BOOGIE & BBQ

Smoke on the Beach will again be part of the annual Beach Boogie & BBQ festival that is held each Labor Day
weekend to close out the summer long Sun Fun Festival sponsored by the Greater Myrtle Beach Chamber of
Commerce and the City of Myrtle Beach. The Festival will take place at the former air force base facilities,
known as Valor Park. The Beach Boogie & BBQ Competition has been proclaimed the official barbeque
competition of South Carolina. The Festival will not only have great food on hand Friday and Saturday, but will
also offer live music, boat rides on the lake, car shows, craft vendors, and even an eating contest.
